entoVITAL® DOG hypoallergenic is dry dog food designed for sustainability.

No animal suffering, no animal transportation, no grazing and we save water immensely.

How does that work? By using insect protein as the only protein source in entoVITAL DOG hypoallergenic dry food!

Our insect protein is derived from the black soldier fly (Hermetia Illucens). This insect has such a small footprint, 90% less than farm animals such as cattle.

Example: one ton of black soldier fly consumes the space of about one small smart to produce protein. Or imagined differently, like your little office desk. So much less than the same amount of beef would require.

What is the black soldier fly?

Coming from the weapon fly family, the insect can grow from 14 (male) to 17 mm (female) in length. Slender and consisting almost only of protein, it is used especially as a forage insect in livestock production.

Started in 2017, we quickly realized that the black soldier fly is perfect as a protein source for very food sensitive and allergic dogs.

In addition to being very easy to digest, dogs especially love the nutty aroma of black soldier fly – entoVITAL DOG hypoallergenic dry food is often eaten away faster than many a dog owner would like for this reason alone 😉.
